What are we raising donations for?

Every year, Bulkley Valley Search & Rescue responds to emergencies across some of British Columbia’s most challenging terrain—day or night, in any season, and always free of charge. To continue providing this vital service, BVSAR has identified three critical equipment needs to improve our ability to respond safely and effectively: a swiftwater rescue boat to support searches and rescues on rivers and waterways throughout the region; a Mobile Incident Command Vehicle to provide a dedicated command and coordination platform during callouts; and mountain-capable snowmobiles to help our volunteers access remote areas during winter searches and rescues. Your support will help ensure our volunteers have the reliable equipment they need to respond quickly, operate safely, and be there when our community needs us most.
