[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On Wednesday night, April 7, the BVSAR hall at Ranger Park was forcibly broken into and equipment was stolen. The equipment that was taken is essential to the effective and safe operations of our team.
Items taken include inReaches (GPS tracking devices), iPads (mapping and tracking), charging stations, and a heavy-duty Rope Rescue backpack. BVSAR put a call out to the community to help meet the costs not covered by insurance.
Thanks to the support of the community, BVSAR has reached the $5000 fundraising goal to replace essential equipment. BVSAR appreciates the support from our community and look forward to restoring our ability to rely on our essential gear and continue our commitment to servicing the communities of the Bulkley Valley and beyond.
